Hart Launches 12th Homer

Brewers OF Corey Hart smacked his 12th homer of the season Sunday in a win over the Orioles. Hart is on pace to pretty much equal all of his offensive totals from last season, although he missed 22 contests in 2007, so he should be able to top most those numbers. He was only hitting .250 in June heading into Sunday, but has picked things up the last week or so. Keep him active in the majority of Fantasy formats. (CBS Sports)

Hart Breaks Out of Slump with 2-for-4 Night

Brewers OF Corey Hart had two hits, including his 17th double, one RBI and one run in four at-bats Wednesday against the Blue Jays. Hart came into the game mired in a 0-for-17 slump after going deep three times in two games on June 11-12. Hart dropped to fifth in the order Tuesday after struggling at the plate and it looks as though the moved might have helped getting him back on track. Hart continues to fill the stat sheet for Fantasy owners and remains a high-end option. (CBS Sports)

Hart Homers Again

Corey Hart had a three-run homer off Brian Moehler in the win over the Astros on Thursday. Prince Fielder and Mike Cameron also took Moehler deep. Hart has three homers and two doubles in three games since moving into the leadoff spot. If this keeps up, Rickie Weeks is going to hit at the bottom of the order when he returns. (Rotoworld)

Hart Slams Two Homers First Night in Leadoff Spot

Corey Hart went 3-for-5 with two homers as the Brewers defeated the Astros on Wednesday night. Both of his shots were two-run blasts, giving him four RBI on the night. Hart is hitting in the leadoff spot following Rickie Weeks’ injury, which should boost his run and steal totals. His RBI totals could be negatively affected, but with just 32 entering tonight, that hadn’t really been his bread and butter thus far. His average now stands at .302 on the year. His nine homers and ten steals put him on about a 25-25 pace. (Rotoworld)

Hart Moved to Leadoff Spot

Corey Hart hit leadoff for the first time this season and went 1-for-4 on Tuesday. It looks like Hart may see some time in the leadoff spot while Rickie Weeks is on the DL. This may boost his runs scored and stolen bases a bit, but will hurt him in RBI. Unless he catches fire, he’s likely to return to the fifth spot in the order after Weeks returns. (Rotowire)

Hart Quietly Streaking Again

Brewers OF Corey Hart had two hits, including a RBI double, in four at-bats Sunday against the Cardinals. Hart has four RBI in his last seven games and three multi-hit outings over that span. Hart has quietly produced a .299 average and 16 RBI this season. Fantasy owners are a little disappointed he has just one homer after cranking out 24 last season, but we remind you that Hart had only one long fly until June last season and look how he finished. Hart remains at worst a No. 3 Fantasy OF in mixed leagues. (CBS Sports)

Hart Inconspicuous in His Mini-Streak

Brewers OF Corey Hart opened the scoring during Sunday’s game against the Astros with a RBI single in the first inning. Hart would finish the game 2-for-6. He has hit safely in 12 of the last 13 games and has five multi-hit games in that span. Hart was hitting .231 as of April 12, but a few weeks later, he has managed to raise his average to .310. Despite hitting lower in the lineup this season, Hart is showing that last season’s breakout campaign was no fluke. It is safe to start the Rotisserie All-Star in most Fantasy formats. (CBS Sports)

Hart Close to the Cycle

Corey Hart went 3-for-5 with two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Cubs. Hart was a home run away from the cycle and raised his batting average to .299. His power numbers are down so far this season, but everything else is the same as last year so just be patient. (Rotowire)

Hart’s Hitting Streak at Six Games

Brewers RF Corey C. Hart moved his his streak along to six games Saturday when he went 2-for-4 in a win over the Marlins. Hart is hitting .281 this season, but his one homer has to be driving his owners nuts. He hit 24 last season, which gave plenty of people hope that he would have a big power breakout season in 2008. That hasn’t come to fruition just yet, but there is a long way to go. Hart should continue to produce with everyday at-bats and remains no worse than a No. 3 Fantasy OF in mixed leagues. Hart Has RBI Triple

Brewers OF Corey Hart had a RBI triple off Ryan Franklin in the eighth inning of Monday’s game against the Cardinals to tie the game at 3, but bad pitching by Derrick Turnbow in the ninth sent Milwaukee to a 4-3 loss. Hart has now hit safely in three of his last four games (3-for-15) with one homer and three RBI in that span. The Brewers continue to bounce Hart between the fifth and sixth spot in the lineup, but they should probably keep him sixth since he is hitting .314 in that role. He came into Monday’s game hitting just .133 in four games batting fifth. Whatever the case, Hart should continue to produce with everyday at-bats. He remains no worse than a No. 3 Fantasy OF in mixed leagues. (CBS Sports)

Hart Moved Up To Fifth in Batting Order

Brewers manager Ned Yost has moved Corey Hart up to the fifth spot in the lineup, bumping Bill Hall to the six hole. Hart hit in the fifth spot with Hall getting a day off yesterday, and Prince Fielder hit his first homer of the year. He probably offers better protection for Fielder, as he is hitting almost 100 points better than Hall, and has been a little more selective at the plate. (Rotoworld)

Hart Moved Up in Lineup

The Brewers made some minor changes to their lineup Thursday against the Cardinals. With Gabe Kapler (shoulder) sidelined and Bill Hall getting the day off, J.J. Hardy moved into the second spot in the lineup for Kapler and Corey C. Hart hit fifth for Hall. However, both Hardy and Hart were hitless in four at-bats, with Hart at least drawing a walk. Hart has spent most of the season hitting sixth and has done a solid job. He came into the game hitting .314 and had seven hits in his previous 12 plate appearances. He will likely be back hitting sixth as soon as Friday, but no matter where he hits, as long as Hart is active he is worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy OF in mixed leagues. (CBS Sports)

Corey Hart Gets Four Hits

Corey Hart collected four hits as the Brewers beat the Mets 9-7 on Sunday. He opened with a leadoff single in the second and fourth; followed a Bill Hall flyout in the fifth with his third single and finished with a RBI single in the sixth. He popped out in his last at-bat, but still managed to raise his average to .295. All four hits were singles for Hart, who drove in one and and scored once. The right fielder entered the game batting .231 and he still doesn’t have his first homer of the season. Hart came into the game without a hit in his previous eight at-bats, but made sure to rectify those woes with his third multi-hit game in seven outings. Hart still doesn’t have a home run through two weeks, but he has four RBI and three stolen bases. Hopefully the power will come soon, but Hart still remains a top 25 Fantasy OF. Hart Steals Third Bag

Brewers OF Corey Hart had two hits — both singles — and two runs in three at-bats during Sunday’s game against the Giants. Hart also swiped his third stolen base. He has hit safely in five of the first six games for a .304 average. Hart is batting sixth in the Brewers lineup to open the season. He is between Bill Hall and J.J. Hardy. That is plenty of protection to allow Hart to do his damage at the dish. Hart can hit for average, power and steal bases. He is a Rotisserie threat, but also someone worth starting in most Fantasy formats.  (CBS Sports)

Hart Bats in Two

Corey Hart went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI at the Cubs on Monday. Hart has been kind of a free swinger at the plate this spring, and while he has some nice power numbers, his high-strikeout rate is alarming. Brewers manager Ned Yost is expecting another big year from Hart after his breakout 2007 season. Hart remains a top 25 Fantasy OF heading into the season since he can do a little bit of everything.   (CBS Sports)
