Corey Hart went 3-for-5 with three RBI as the Brewers topped the Padres on Wednesday night. All three RBI came on a triple in the fifth inning, and helped the Brewers win their eighth consecutive game. Hart now has 16 RBI in the first 13 days of August. Hart is having a little bit of a resurgence in trying to regain his good numbers from last year where he posted a .295/.352/.539 line. As it stands currently, he sports a .289/.326/.503 line that looks to be getting slightly better each week. (Rotoworld, Rotowire)

Rickie Weeks and Corey Hart each hit home runs and Dave Bush pitched a five-hitter over 6 1/3 innings to help the Milwaukee Brewers sweep the four-game series against the Washington Nationals with a 7-1 victory Monday. Hart is a streaky outfielder on the right side of things at the plate right now. Consider him a solid option in any league at this point, especially as a regular in a potentially potent lineup. Brewers OF Corey Hart had two hits, two walks and two stolen bases Sunday in a win over the Nationals. He now has 21 steals on the season. Hart has power and speed — two things that have turned him into a very reliable mixed-league outfielder. He is also hitting a solid .286, which is just above his career average. (CBS Sports)

Brewers OF Corey Hart, who was in a 4-for-23 slump, hit a two-run triple in the first inning Tuesday against the Reds. Hart later added a double and a sacrifice fly as he finished 2-for-3 with one run. Hart now has 33 doubles and four triples. Hart has hit safely in four straight games and appears to have worked out his troubles at the plate. Hart is an unsung Fantasy hero, but he fills the stat sheet and is usually a safe start more often than not. (CBS Sports)

Milwaukee RF Corey Hart was back in the starting lineup Friday after sitting out the previous day for a “mental break.” The Sports Xchange reports Manager Ned Yost said at the time he planned to give Hart at least two days off but changed his mind and re-inserted Hart to the lineup for the opener of a three-game series in Atlanta. Hart’s skid continued as he went 0-for-4 with one RBI. Hart is now just 2-for-16 since the beginning of Milwaukee’s series against the Cubs starting back on July 28. The All-Star is really struggling at the plate right now and could be a good candidate to sit in Fantasy Week 19 (Aug. 4-10). If his own manager thought he could use a break, maybe his Fantasy owners should follow suit. He should be back to hitting well soon, but for now he’s a risky start. (CBS Sports)

Corey Hart (cold) will be back in the starting lineup against the Cardinals on Wednesday night, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports. The Brewers were able to put together a comeback win without Hart on Tuesday night, but be sure to get him back in your active lineup as soon as you’re allowed to do so. (Rotowire)

Hart continues to fill the stat sheet for Fantasy owners with a .288 average, 16 homers, 58 RBI, 51 runs and 14 stolen bases. He is showing that his breakout 2007 season wasn’t a fluke. Continue to start Hart in all Fantasy formats. (CBS Sports)

The National League’s newest All Star, Milwaukee’s Corey Hart made the fans who voted him in proud Thursday against the Rockies. Hart only managed one hit in four ABs, but made the most of the hit, slamming his 15th home run. Having an All-Star season, Hart is batting .292 with 15 homers and 57 RBI. He’s been a pleasant surprise for Fantasy owners as well and is pretty much owned across the board. His numbers prove he should be starting in all Fantasy formats. (CBS Sports)

Brewers OF Corey Hart singled twice in four at-bats Monday against the Rockies. Hart is 12-for-29 (.414) with four RBI and four multi-hit games in his last seven otuings. Hart is not mentioned in the same breath as some of the elite Fantasy OFs, but maybe it is about time he gets his due credit. Hart is hitting .299 with 14 homers, 55 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 2008. Those numbers are good enough to be starting in all Fantasy formats. (CBS Sports)

3B Chipper Jones has been voted as starter for the National League for next week’s All-Star game. Pitchers Brandon Webb, Tim Lincecum, and Brian Wilson were also named to the squad. “A little surprised, yes, because I don’t think I’ve done a super job this year. I’ve done mediocre. But I’ve done a good job saving wins. It was a little surreal, getting a call saying I made the All-Star team,” said Giants closer Brian Wilson, on joining the NL All-Star team. (Rotoworld)
Update (July 11th): Brewers OF Corey Hart was named as the final member of the NL squad for the All-Star game, receiving the most votes in the “Monster All-Star Game Final Vote”. 47 million votes were cast online at MLB.com from Sunday evening to Thursday, and Hart beat out David Wright, Pat Burrell, Aaron Rowand, and Carlos Lee. Evan Longoria of Tampa Bay was voted in by fans for the AL squad.

Corey Hart finished June with 24 RBI, one of the highest totals in the National League. The outfielder is producing at the level of a No. 1 or 2 outfielder right now and should be started accordingly. He continues to fill the stat sheet for Fantasy owners and remains a high-end option in Rotisserie formats as well. (CBS Sports)

Corey Hart delivered his 13th and 14th homers of the year Friday against the Twins. Hart had one homer in April, five in May and now eight so far in June. It’s just too bad he doesn’t walk a bit more and force the Brewers to hit him higher in the order. With 39 runs scored, he’s been driven in a total of 25 times in 78 games. (Rotoworld)

Brewers OF Corey Hart smacked his 12th homer of the season Sunday in a win over the Orioles. Hart is on pace to pretty much equal all of his offensive totals from last season, although he missed 22 contests in 2007, so he should be able to top most those numbers. He was only hitting .250 in June heading into Sunday, but has picked things up the last week or so. Keep him active in the majority of Fantasy formats. (CBS Sports)
