Watch Out Ted Williams! Theriot Batting .600 Still
Cubs SS Ryan Theriot had a pair of hits, including his first double, and one run in three at-bats Tuesday against the Astros. He also walked once. Theriot is now 3-for-5 (.600) with one RBI in his first two games of the 2009 season. Theriot doesn’t have much natural ability, but he did hit .307 and steal 22 bases last season. The Cubs trust him as their starting shortstop, so he should score a decent number of runs, if nothing else. He is best used in Rotisserie leagues, but passes as a viable option in NL-only and larger mixed head-to-head leagues as well. (CBS Sports)
