Johnson Decent in Final Start – Comeback a Success
Josh Johnson yielded two runs over six innings in a win over the Nationals on Wednesday night. It wasn’t the prettiest game for Johnson, as he allowed six hits and three walks while only recording one strikeout, but he gave his fantasy owners a boost with good ERA and the win. A fine last start in what has to be considered a successful season for Johnson. In 13 starts since making his return from Tommy John surgery rehab on July 10, Johnson went 7-1 with a 3.61 ERA and 77-to-27 strikeout-to-walk ratio over 87 1/3 innings. He’s definitely a good bet for success next season. (Rotoworld, Rotowire)
