Reyes Sets Mets Record for Leadoff Homers, Triples

Jose Reyes led off Saturday’s game with a home run to left field against Zach Duke (4-11) and added an RBI triple in the second. Reyes’ leadoff homer was the 12th of his career, extending his team record. His triple was his major league-leading 14th and the 66th of his career, also a club record. Reyes and Ramon Castro each finished with two hits and two RBI for the Mets, who have won five consecutive and nine of 12. Reyes has had a career year after his slow start. Consider him a must-start in all leagues, especially Rotisserie formats for his steals, down the stretch. (CBS Sports)
