Iannetta To Get More Starts with Torrealba Injury
Chris Iannetta went 2-for-3 against the Diamondbacks on Thursday afternoon. Iannetta doubled and drove in a run. Iannetta’s teammate Yorvit Torrealba has a small tear in his left meniscus, the Rockies’ official web site reports. Torrealba will not immediately go on the DL, but he will miss at least a few more days. Iannetta should start almost every day with Torrealba sidelined; Adam Melhuse was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs to serve as his backup. Iannetta is the team’s starting catcher and despite a .266 average does have hits in four straight games with two homers in that span. Iannetta should be starting in most mixed Fantasy leagues.
