Chris Iannetta hit cleanup on Wednesday for the second straight game. The Rockies are in a bind because of injuries/illnesses (Todd Helton and Garrett Atkins would be better bets to hit cleanup if they were healthy), but this is still a show of respect for Iannetta, who ranks third in home runs among major league catchers despite a part-time role. Iannetta ended the night 1-for-4 with a double, and was replaced for a pinch runner in the bottom of the eighth. (Rotowire)
