Headley Extends Hit Streak With Double

Padres 3B Chase Headley went 1-for-3 with a double, walk and a run scored in Wednesday’s loss to the Brewers, extending his hit streak to eight games. Headley is 11-for-27 (.407) during his streak with two homers, five RBI and six runs scored. The rookie Headley had a 10-game hitting streak earlier this season, but didn’t have a multi-hit game in that span. This latest streak is by far his most impressive run this season and he is showing the type of potential he brings to the table. He’s a solid young talent worth holding on to in deeper mixed keeper leagues and starting in deeper NL-only formats. (CBS Sports)
