Iannetta Slumping, But Launches 14th Homer
Chris Iannetta homered for the 14th time this season and fifth since the All-Star break on Tuesday. However, he is 3-for-23 (.130) in August and he has evenly split the Rockies’ last 12 starts with Yorvit Torrealba. Iannetta has shown very good power this season with a homer every 16.1 at-bats. If he can improve his batting average and his defensive ability, he could grow into a true everyday catcher with the ability to hit 25-30 home runs. (Rotowire)
