Wellemeyer Goes Through the Motions

Wellemeyer struggled in Thursday’s start against Milwaukee, though he was able to escape allowing just two runs over five innings. He allowed five hits and five walks, and had just two strikeouts. Wellemeyer’s ERA creeps up to 4.19 for the season, and he hasn’t looked like anything more than a mediocre fantasy option since late May. It was a nice run while it lasted, but it looks to be very much over now. (Rotowire)
