Teixeira Launches Two Against Nationals
Mark Teixeira hit two home runs against the Nationals on Sunday. Both were solo shots for Teixeira, who also added an RBI single and a walk. The Braves maintain that they’re in the race and won’t be sellers for now, but they’re 6 1/2 games out of an NL East race that has three teams ahead of them. It will likely come down to how they do over the next week, but Teixeira heating up and increasing his trade value could also push them over the edge. (Rotoworld)
