Myers Recalled to Philadelphia - So Long, IronPigs!
Phillies recalled RHP Brett Myers from Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Demoted to the minors on July 1, Myers posted a 3.00 ERA and 28/7 K/BB ratio in 27 innings spread over four starts. He was 3-9 with a 5.84 ERA in 17 starts for the Phillies prior to the demotion, but will rejoin the rotation with a start Wednesday against the Mets. (Rotoworld)

Lyon Blows The Save and Takes The Loss (Again)
Brandon Lyon blew a save and took a loss after allowing five runs while retiring just two batters against the Dodgers on Sunday. Lyon was brought in with a 4-1 lead and proceeded to allow two doubles, two singles, and a triple to give the Dodgers a 5-4 lead. Leo Rosales then came in and allowed an inherited runner to score. That extra run was needed when Jonathan Broxton allowed a Stephen Drew RBI single in the bottom of the inning, but Broxton eventually finished the job. Lyon was working for a third straight day and had struggled last night, so bringing him in to a 4-1 game should be second guessed. (Rotoworld)

Webb Dominant Over Dodgers - Bullpen Stinks It Up
Brandon Webb went eight innings and surrendered just one run in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Sunday. Webb departed with a 5-1 lead, but Brandon Lyon couldn’t close it out and the Diamondbacks eventually lost the game. Webb had 10 wins through the first two months of the season, but he has just three in nine starts since. He’s still on pace to break last year’s pace of 18, however. (Rotoworld)

Lincecum Wobbly in First Post-All-Star Appearance
Tim Lincecum, who missed the All-Star game due to the flu, returned to action by yielding five runs in six-plus innings in a loss to the Brewers on SUnday. Lincecum was doing well with just two runs allowed through six innings, but a single, hit by pitch, and three-run Ryan Braun homer changed all that in the seventh. The loss drops Lincecum to 11-3 and raised his ERA to 2.79. (Rotoworld)

Garcia Solid in First Major League Start
Jaime Garcia allowed three runs in five innings against the Padres on Sunday in his first career major league start. Garcia struck out four and walked one, but he also gave up home runs to Scott Hairston and pitcher Cha Seung Baek. Garcia has mid-rotation potential and could be of use in NL-only leagues in the second half, but he’s a risky option due to inconsistent command and he has a tough matchup against the Mets next time out. Teixeira Launches Two Against Nationals
Mark Teixeira hit two home runs against the Nationals on Sunday. Both were solo shots for Teixeira, who also added an RBI single and a walk. The Braves maintain that they’re in the race and won’t be sellers for now, but they’re 6 1/2 games out of an NL East race that has three teams ahead of them. It will likely come down to how they do over the next week, but Teixeira heating up and increasing his trade value could also push them over the edge. (Rotoworld)

Reyes Destroys Reds with a 4-for-6, 3 Runs and a Steal
Jose Reyes went 4-for-6 with a stolen base and three runs scored on Sunday. Reyes tripled once and singled three times. The stolen base was his 33rd of the season, putting him well off his pace from last year, when he finished with 78. Still, the total is good for third in the National League behind Willy Taveras and Juan Pierre. (Rotoworld)

Johnson Solid in No-Decision Against Phillies
Josh Johnson yielded two runs in 6 2/3 innings against the Phillies on Sunday. He struck out four, walked three, and gave up seven hits. Johnson pitched himself out of jams in the first and third, and was then bailed out by reliever Renyel Pinto with runners on second and third with two outs in the seventh. Johnson still didn’t factor into the decision, but it was an encouraging outing. He’s a risky play while just returning from Tommy John surgery, but the upside is there and he could well be worth using down the stretch run in NL-only leagues. (Rotoworld)

Theriot’s Streak up to 13 Games
Cubs SS Ryan Theriot went 3-for-5 with two RBI in Sunday’s 9-0 win over the Astros to extend his hitting streak to 13 games. Theriot is hitting 25-for-57 (.439) and has eight multi-hit games during the streak. Theriot is now hitting .329 this season as he continues to put together a career year. While he doesn’t have much power, his speed and great bat make him worth starting in all rotisserie formats and plenty of head-to-head leagues. (CBS Sports)

Hart Goes Yard Against Giants
Brewers OF Corey Hart hit a solo home run during Sunday’s 7-4 win against the Giants. Hart hit his 16th homer of the year on a 3-2 pitch leading off the second inning against Tim Lincecum. Hart is 6-for-26 (.231) wuth two homers and three RBI in his last six games. Hart continues to fill the stat sheet for Fantasy owners with a .288 average, 16 homers, 58 RBI, 51 runs and 14 stolen bases. He is showing that his breakout 2007 season wasn’t a fluke. Continue to start Hart in all Fantasy formats. (CBS Sports)

Fielder Launches 20th Homer
Prince Fielder hit his 20th homer of the season Saturday for Milwaukee. It marked the 15th consecutive game in which the Brewers have homered, tying the third-longest streak in franchise history. The club record is 19, set in 1996. Fielder is a must-start in all leagues. He could be due for a huge second half for the contending Brewers. (CBS Sports)

Phillips Homers Off Mets’ Pelfrey
2B Brandon Phillips was one of three Reds to homer off Mets SP Mike Pelfrey Sunday. Phillips’ 16th homer was a solo shot off Pelfrey in the sixth. It was his first homer since July 10. He finished 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. Phillips is 4-for-16 (.250) with four RBI in the first four games after the All-Star break. His average has dropped from .289 to .278 in the last 10 games, but Phillips has shown he can get hot as quickly as he sometimes goes cold at the plate. Don’t bench the Fantasy must-start second baseman. (CBS Sports)
