Headley Homers Off Marlins, Extends Hit Streak
Chase Headley hit his fifth homer of the season during the Padres’ loss to the Marlins on Monday. Headley hit a towering homer to right field Monday against the Marlins on Ricky Nolasco’s first pitch of the fifth inning. Headley is only batting .243, thanks in no small part to a hideous 22:0 K:BB ratio. He’s got a nice future, but for now, San Diego’s home ballpark and his teammates limit his upside.
