Gonzalez Activated, Appears, Gets Save
Mike Gonzalez threw a scoreless ninth inning in Wednesday’s win over Texas, recording a save in his first appearance since coming off the DL. It looks like Atlanta has finally found its closer after Rafael Soriano’s elbow injury. He may not pitch back-to-back games initially, but it looks like he’s the arm to own for saves in the Atlanta bullpen. (Rotowire)
