Phillips Goes 2-for-5 With 13th Home Run
Cincinnati second baseman Brandon Phillips, hitting .268 on the year, went 2-for-5 Saturday in a loss to the Boston Red Sox. Phillips hit his 13th home run of the season — third among NL second baseman — and also struck out once. Phillips had just one hit in his previous three games, but the second baseman has been excellent this season for the Reds and is putting up good power numbers. If the Expos and Indians were a little more patient with Phillips’ progression, they could have an All-Star second baseman. Continue to start Phillips in all Fantasy formats. (CBS Sports)
