Iannetta Goes Yard in Rockies’ Win
Rockies C Chris Iannetta lead off the seventh inning of Thursday’s game against the Cubs with a solo home run. It ended up being his only hit in four at-bats. Iannetta has hit safely in five of his last six games (7-for-16) with one homer and four RBI in that span. Iannetta is hitting .333 through 27 at-bats and is showing the offensive potential we all expected from him heading into the 2007 season. There is no denying that Iannetta is still the future behind the plate in Colorado, but Yorvit Torrealba continues to see the majority of starts, rendering Iannetta useful as a No. 2 Fantasy catcher in NL-only leagues.
