Reyes Thrown Out?

The Mets opened the 2008 season Monday against the Marlins and a familiar face was atop the lineup — All-Star shortstop Jose Reyes. The speedy shortstop gave the team a scare Friday when he was hit on the hand by a Daniel Cabrera pitch, but the injury didn’t faze him and was active Monday. He was productive at the plate with two singles and one RBI in four at-bats. However, he was caught stealing.  Reyes gave the Mets a few scares this spring with injuries, but he has toughed it out. That’s good news because he was a little injury prone early in his career. Reyes looks healthy to start the season and is already swinging a mean bat. Keep him active in all Fantasy formats.  (CBS Sports)
