Overnight Dispatches

From RotoWire:

Mark Mulder is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his shoulder today, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “We’re going to figure something out.” Mulder said. “I can’t keep going out there putting the team in a 5-0, 6-0, 7-0 hole after three innings. We’ve got to see what’s going on.” Mulder was placed on the DL yesterday with what was termed as a shoulder strain. Mulder might be back right after the All-Star break, but it’s anyone’s guess what he’ll contribute over the rest of the year.

Moises Alou missed his fourth straight game with spasms in his lower back on Wednesday, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. He had an MRI taken but the results are not yet known.
