Jeff Kent (hand) took batting practice prior to Tuesday’s game. Kent could return to the starting lineup on Wednesday.
Danys Baez got a relief victory after throwing two scoreless innings Tuesday against the Braves. Baez has three wins, but this is the first that didn’t follow a blown save. He’s pitched 8 2/3 scoreless innings in his last six appearances.
